Old Lake Lodge sits atop 11 acres & includes on-property access to Crooked Creek, known for steelhead fishing. The perfect base to spend your days w/friends & family on Lake Erie, the nearby public parks and beaches (The Bluffs State Park, Elk Creek Access, Raccoon Park and Conneaut Ohio) and your evenings fireside or in the privacy of your own suite. Plenty of parking is available for RVs & boat trailers.

Old Lake Lodge is the recipient of a 2022 Preservation Award for the adaptive reuse of the school house! The property is surrounded by farmland and rural dwellings.

Where You'll Be

Old Lake Lodge is located on the corner of Pa Rt 215 and Rt 5 (Great Lakes Seaway Trail) at 1959 Holliday Road in North Springfield, Pennsylvania. On-property access thru a meadow to Crooked Creek, a steelhead fishing stream. Views of 120 year old shade trees, neighboring farmland and a short walk across historic train tracks to Peggy Gray's candy store. Great area for bicycling.

Getting Around

The Lodge is the perfect base to stay while you enjoy Lake Erie’s swimming, boating, fishing and world-famous sun sets. The Lodge sits on Crooked Creek with easy access steelhead fishing and is a short drive to Erie Bluff State Park (3 miles), Elk Creek access (5 miles) and Raccoon Park (3 miles). Drive a bit further east (30 minutes) and take in all that Erie has to offer including Presque Isle State Park, the Erie Port and Bayfront area, Presque Isle Downs and Casino, Waldameer & Water World, and the Mill Creek Mall, to name a few. Drive west 20 minutes to Conneaut Harbor, Ohio for easy boat launching. Stop by one of the many family-owned pick your own fruit farms, vegetable stands, ice cream parlors, vineyards, breweries and restaurants along the way. Challenge yourself to a day of golf on one of the nearby public courses. Treat yourself to Peggy Gray’s famous candy located right across the train tracks from the Lodge. Ample parking for RV and boat trailers on site.
